My jaw is in pain, do I have an infection?
Jaw pain is normal and you most likely don’t have an infection. If, however, your jaw pain is coupled with excessive bleeding, you may want to consult with your dentist to rule out the possibility of an infection.
How can I ease the pain at home?
Your dentist may have prescribed you some pain medication, if not, over the counter pain medication will do. An ice pack will also help with the pain as well as work to reduce any swelling you may have.
